ELDEN RING

SOULS/FANTASY/OPEN WORLD

Since its release in 2022, I had dreamed of playing Elden Ring, but my PC couldn't run it. When I finally tried it on a relative's computer at max settings, I was instantly captivated. The first sight of the Erdtree after opening those doors gave me chills.
Then Miyazaki welcomed me to the Lands Between with, "You're maidenless." Thanks for reminding that miserable single guy. Moments later, I confidently challenged the Tree Sentinel, thinking he was just another enemy, and quickly learned otherwise.
Despite eventually playing on the lowest settings, *Elden Ring* gave me the greatest open-world experience I've ever had. From fighting Margit and fleeing dragons to getting hopelessly lost and following Ranni's quest, every moment felt unforgettable.
I may have chosen the way many consider the "wrong" one, but defeating the final boss filled me with enough adrenaline and joy to make every death worthwhile. Elden Ring will always be the greatest game I have ever played.

Favorite moments:

Defeating Radagon/Completing Ranni's quest.

DARK SOULS 3

SOULS/DARK FANTASY

As my very first Souls game, Dark Souls III will always hold a special place in my heart. I still remember how a kid who had never played a "difficult" game before somehow decided that starting with a Souls game was a brilliant idea. My ridiculous excitement after defeating the tutorial boss came straight from the heart.
Dark Souls III was the game that made me fall in love with this genre. I fell in love with its dark Gothic atmosphere, its ancient architecture, and the sense of death that lingered in every corner of its world. The feeling of being completely lost, with no map and no quest markers to guide me, made every new path I discovered and every boss I defeated feel genuinely rewarding.
To this day, I still haven't finished the DLC, but I think this summer I'll finally go back and complete it. As for my experience with Dark Souls III, it is every bit as meaningful to me as my journey through Elden Ring.
Thank you, Miyazaki.

Favorite moments:

Defeating Pontiff/Lothric

Dofus (retro, touch and og ones)

MMORPG

I was just a kid when I played Dofus for the first time. I didn't even know what the objective was or what I was supposed to do. I simply wandered around without a clue, buying things I didn't need and would never use, especially since my older brother was a well-known and wealthy player on the server back then.
Even so, *Dofus* remains one of the games closest to my heart. The countless memories I made, the hours I spent exploring its world, the friends I met along the way, and the skills I developed because of it are things I'll always cherish.
It was honestly one of the best ways to sharpen my analytical thinking and planning skills from such a young age. My brother was passionate about PvP, but I found myself drawn to PvM instead. The high-level dungeons were sometimes even more challenging than Souls games, demanding incredible patience, concentration, and teamwork. You often had to spend hours searching for the enemies' hidden mechanics or "loopholes" just to stand a chance of defeating them.
And, of course, the soundtrack... it has a way of filling you with nostalgia every single time you hear it. I'll leave a link to one of my favorite tracks below. Thank you, Dofus, for all those unforgettable years.

Favorite moments:

Meeting new friends, Collecting les Dofus, Completing pandala's quests (It takes weeks).

MOBILE LEGENDS : BANG BANG

MOBA

I hate this game, I hate it so much but I can't stop playing it, It's just as toxic as my last relationship.
People are toxic, the randoms gonna make you regret the day you downloaded the game, and if you took the game seriously? Congratulations you're going to crash out.

Favorite moments:

Deleting it.

GENSHIN IMPACT

OPEN WORLD/ANIIME/RPG

You're in a world that every girl want's you, but you want your sister, and your sister is evil, WTF?!!
but seriously, Genshin Impact was, at one point, a truly wonderful game. Its beautiful visuals and vibrant characters made it feel as if you had stepped into a real anime world. The story and its many events were genuinely enjoyable, even if they could sometimes drag on, and despite Paimon constantly following me around with her never-ending commentary.
I had a great time playing it and managed to collect many characters along the way. But after a while, the game slowly became repetitive and exhausting. I wouldn't say I hate it, because it gave me plenty of good memories, but it simply isn't the game I once fell in love with.

Favorite moments:

Getting Arlecchino/Kinich.

HOLLOW KNIGHT

Metroidvania/ADVENTURE

Hollow Knight is the only game in which I've completed absolutely everything(112%). It was an unforgettable journey, and I never once regretted the countless hours I spent exploring every corner of Hallownest.
The world design, memorable characters, and incredible boss fights are nothing short of extraordinary, especially for a 2D game. Every area felt unique, rewarding curiosity and making exploration one of the game's greatest strengths.
Most importantly, Hollow Knight struck the perfect balance in difficulty. It was never frustratingly hard, yet never too easy. Every victory felt earned, making the adventure all the more satisfying. It remains one of the finest gaming experiences I've ever had.

Favorite moments:

Defeating the SUN. Completing the PATH OF PAIN.

HOLLOW KNIGHT : SILKSONG

Metroidvania/ADVENTURE

Silksong is a completely different beast from the original. Pharloom shows no mercy. The game is significantly more challenging, yet its greatest strength is the variety of playstyles it offers, keeping every hour fresh and engaging.
The world is unbelievably massive, and I still haven't managed to complete everything it has to offer. Ironically, reaching some bosses can be more frustrating than fighting them, making every runback feel like a challenge before the real challenge even begins.
Team Cherry caught everyone off guard with just how difficult Silksong turned out to be. But despite all the punishment, I ended up loving it just as much as I loved the first game(I'M NOT A MASOCHIST).

Favorite moments:

Getting the wings from the top of that mountain.
